LED lamp industry chain analysis
LED industry chain is divided into upstream epitaxial wafer growth and LED chip manufacturing, midstream LED packaging and downstream LED product application.
The upstream of LED industry chain is LED epitaxial chip industry. Substrate and epitaxial wafer production has the highest technical content and large investment, belonging to the technology and capital intensive industry; Chip manufacturing is a single chip after photolithography, corrosion and other procedures to cut LED chips, manufacturing process is also more complex. After several years of fierce competition, LED chip industry concentration gradually increased, San 'an Optoelectronics,HC SemiTek, AOYANG GROUP and Shenzhen MTC, four domestic manufacturers of the market share of more than 60%.
LED industry chain is LED packaging industry. Packaging mainly refers to the process of sealing LED chip and bracket with epoxy resin or silicone and other materials.
Downstream of LED industry chain is LED application industry. LED application is to test and select the packaged chip, and form the final product through plug-in, assembly and other processes. It should be used in lighting, display, backlight and other fields.
At present, there are more than 2,000 LED light packaging enterprises in China, providing 70% of the world's LED light packaging output. However, at present, domestic LED lamp enterprises are mainly concentrated in the low-end packaging field, led lamp market concentration is low, the competition situation is more intense, a small number of LED lamp leading enterprises in the high-end field of packaging technology breakthroughs.
According to LEDinside data, the global LED small-pitch display market in 2019 was about 2.6 billion US dollars, increasing by 31% compared to 2018. It is expected that the annual compound growth rate will reach 27% from 2019 to 2023, continuing to maintain rapid growth.
