WHAT COLOR TEMPRETURE DOWNLIGHT IS GOOD FOR HOME?
When buying LED Downlights for your home, you want the same warm, ambient feel you are used to getting from halogen and incandescent lamps. ‘Warm white’ sounds ideal – but it‘s just a description, and not a very accurate one. To get the effect you want it‘s much better to look for the actual colour temperature, which is measured in Kelvin (K). To recreate the warmth of halogens and incandescent lamps you need a rating of 2700K.
Both lamps shown here are described as ‘warm white’: the first picture is 2700K and the second picture is 3000k.

So you can see from number 2700K and 3000K, the difference is small different. But the effect will ber apparantly different.
Most people maybe know that they want 2700K, but many led downlight supplier can not control the color temperature 100% accurate . they always insist that it must be public difference existed like minus or plus 100K or 200K. for example for the led slim slim downlight. This is most popular led fixture selling in the market. But their color temperature is not same as the number they show.
